Our KAL (knitalong) is free to participate in. The KAL isn’t a formal class, and you don’t have to attend every session. Drop in and out as you like. Come to each session with your materials and be surrounded by others making the same pattern! During the sessions, Jamie will be on hand to demonstrate techniques and answer questions on your KAL.
To join in, sign up using the form below and come to the shop prior to the start date to pick out your yarn and any notions you don’t already have. Amy and Isabel will be in the shop to help you pick your correct size and yarn.

The Timbó Vest is a simple yet interesting knit, suitable for beginners and fast enough to become your go-to gift project. It is worked from top down in an easy broken rib stitch, with a stockinette shoulder detail.
Gabriella has designed this pattern to where you can use one or more colors. You may choose to make it in one color, or use multiple like her sample!
-
Absolutely. We suggest this pattern for adventurous beginners and above who have mastered knit and purl stitches.
During this pattern, you will work a garment from the top down from a longtail cast on, work a broken rib stitch patterns and M1R/M1L increases. You will also use the cable cast on to join your armholes.
The best way to learn a new skill is just to dive in. If these are new techniques for you, the group and Jamie will be there to guide you through it!

To choose your size, measure the circumference of your torso around the fullest part of your chest and choose a size that fits with the amount of ease you would like in your vest. Not sure? Have a friend grab a fabric measuring tape and compare the measurements for your chosen size against your body to make sure you will be happy with them.
Does picking a size stress you out? We are always happy to take your measurements and help pick out the right size for you!
