So you just learned the knit and purl stitch- what’s next? Build on your knowledge with Lynne, and learn new techniques to make this approachable and useful project. These cute hand towels make wonderful gifts, and are a fabulous vehicle to become a more confident knitter.
In this one session class, you will learn:
-How to make a buttonhole in your knitting
-How to make a mitered square using simple decreases (slip slip knit and knit two together, aka ssk and k2tog)
-How to do a cable cast on
-Make garter ridges in your knitting for texture
-Get more comfortable with stockinette
Materials:
One skein of Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton Worsted (if you would like your washcloth to have another color in it like the photo, get another skein in your contrast color).
