Knit the Ivy Tee by Petiteknit

Date: Saturday April 11th, 25th, and May 9th from 3:00 PM- 4:30 PM

Level: Confident Beginner

Must be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling, and casting off. Experience knitting in the round is encouraged.

Knitting isn’t just for the colder seasons. In this class, you will learn how to make the perfect summer garment! Knitting a T-shirt is a excellent and approachable way to dip your toe into garment knitting. This three part class teaches you techniques that will carry over into your future projects, and allow you to knit a garment you can wear year round.

Materials:

• The Ivy Tee pattern from Petiteknit. You can purchase this pattern on Ravelry or the designer’s website.

• Fingering weight yarn in cotton, linen, or wool

• Circular needles required by pattern

• Tapestry Needle

• Stitch Markers

Homework:

• Come to the shop prior to class to purchase your yarn and pattern

• Have your yarn wound or wind it yourself

• Print your pattern
